This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Connectivity B.V. (we/us) processes personal data when you visit ukdesire.co.uk, create an account and use our services. It applies in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

3. Purposes and legal bases (UK GDPR)

Registration/account management, communication and support: Art. 6(1)(b).
Service provision (platform, messaging, search/match): Art. 6(1)(b).
Moderation, safety and abuse prevention (including entertainment/fictive profiles; no physical meetings): Art. 6(1)(f).
Age-check 18+ and legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) and (f).
Payments/administration (credits, invoicing; statutory retention): Art. 6(1)(b) and (c).
Marketing/communications: Art. 6(1)(a) or, where allowed, Art. 6(1)(f) (you may object at any time).

4. Special category data

You may choose to provide information revealing sexual life/sexual orientation. We process such data only with your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) UK GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time. Do not include sensitive data without consent.

5. Data we process

Account/stem data (username, age, language).
Profile data (photos, preferences/interests, free text; may include special category data).
Communications (chats, support).
Usage/technical data (logs, IP, device/browser info, timestamps, cookie IDs).
Payment/transaction data (credits purchased, payment status; full card data remain with the PSP).

6. Sources

Data you provide, data generated automatically during your use, and information from payment/fraud-prevention providers.

7. Recipients

Hosting/IT providers, moderation/support providers, payment service providers, marketing/analytics tools (with consent), competent authorities where required by law. We use processor contracts or, where appropriate, joint controllership arrangements.

8. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations (including the UK-US Data Bridge where applicable), UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Clauses (IDTA/UK Addendum) and supplementary measures as needed. Details available on request.

9. Cookies and similar technologies (PECR)

We use cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are set without prior consent. For statistics/marketing we obtain consent via our banner. Manage your choices via Cookie settings.

Categories: essential; functional (Google Accounts sign-in); analytics (Google Analytics 4); marketing (Google Ads, Meta; attribution/ads via Voluum/ExoClick).

9.1 Google Accounts (functional)

Purpose: sign-in/authentication. Basis: Art. 6(1)(b). May involve storage by accounts.google.com/gstatic.com; international transfers safeguarded per section 8.

9.2 Google Analytics 4 (analytics)

Purpose: usage statistics and error analysis. Basis: consent. Typical identifiers: _ga, _ga_<container>, _gid. IP masking enabled; minimal data sharing. Withdraw via Cookie settings.

9.3 Google Ads (marketing)

Purpose: conversion measurement/remarketing. Basis: consent. Typical: _gcl_au and related tags/parameters.

9.4 Voluum (attribution)

Purpose: campaign attribution, conversions and fraud-prevention. Basis: consent (marketing); legitimate interests for pure security. Uses cookies/local storage and/or server-side parameters.

9.5 ExoClick (ad-serving)

Purpose: ad delivery/optimisation and anti-fraud. Basis: consent. Sets ad IDs and similar technologies after consent via our banner.

9.6 Meta (Meta Pixel/Conversions API)

Purpose: conversions, reach and personalised ads. Basis: consent. Typical: _fbp (~3 months), _fbc (on ad click); HTTP headers, pixel ID and event data; server-side events may run via Voluum.

9.7 Manual deletion and signals

You can delete/block cookies in your browser; you may then need to re-consent. Where technically supported we honour valid opt-out signals.

10. Profiling and automated decisions

We use profiling (e.g. to show suitable content/matches and detect abuse). We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Children

Service is for adults (18+) only. Under-age accounts are removed or blocked once identified.

12. Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. Guidance: logs up to 12 months; backups up to ~30 days; payment/financial records up to 6–10 years as required; after voluntary deletion, non-mandatory profile/usage data are typically removed within 30 days; certain transaction/security data may be retained up to 121 days for chargebacks/fraud/claims.

13. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object, as well as the right to withdraw consent. We normally respond within one month. Submit requests via the contact form. We may ask for appropriate ID verification.

14. Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.

15. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (TLS, encryption at rest, least-privilege access, logging/monitoring, hashed/salted passwords, 2FA for admin, patching, training).

16. Changes

We may update this policy when our processing, the law or our vendors change. The current version is available on ukdesire.co.uk. We will notify you appropriately of material changes.
